Well at 13k I lost my 3rd gear synchros and the dealership was nice enough to replace the internals. Well I clicked over 28k and they went out again. This time they put a new one, actually I got them to admit it was factory refurbished, anyway we wiil see how she goes now. Is this a problem that others are haveing. I drive pretty conservative so it makes me wonder if I am doing it or if its something internal. Thanks Russ

Sarcasm noted....

Yes Fox, very good. Now that you have stated the obvious about my choice of transmission's... ... . what I am asking is if there have been any test's or or a fix that I don't know about. Wasn't on the site for quite a while and might have missed something.

I love the 6-speed, I personally wouldn't own another automatic. Nothing against other people with automatic's, I just had several bad experiences with them. I didn't post this to cause a Pi**ing contest between the 2. Anyone with useful information or just a personal experience, lemme know what is going on with it. Thanks, Russ

Hey isn't a M1911A1, a Automatic? ok well it's a Semi-automatic

Do you use your clutch when shifting gears and during take-off???

Ok,ok I just had too, sorry.

I'd say you have a very isolated problem. I have not heard of many problems at all with the NV5600 transmission.

Finally

There is someone on here that can give a decent answer. The smart@** comments made by other users are not wanted and are pretty immature. I personally expect more and/or better from the people on this site.

Thanks for the reply Sticks.

Forgive them, must be having an off day. Normally they are helpful, not a hindrance.

Give the thread a couple more days, and someone with a good knowledge of the internals of the NV5600 will chime in and let you know the possible causes of this. My money is on either a trainer transmission (READ - first transmission built by a FNG), or a Tuesday after a 3 day holiday weekend.
