Spring clips may pull it back inplace the first couple of TUGS , but the motoin of the whole thing will let you know your making progess without breaking anything... ... ... ... .

Too many questions? You're outta here!

This board won't bash people who ask legitimate questions or need help. It WILL bash you if you are on here every day with silly ass questions you can find answers for someone else.

Members of the TDR don't mind helping other members but we're not going to take you home and raise you either.

If you've got enough money to buy a truck and add goodies to it, you've got enough money to figure out answers to questions without boring the rest of us to death.

Sorry if I offended anyone, but that's about what it's come to as far as a couple of people are concerned.

Well when i have a question that i think of i dont care if i know the answer... If it is a question that may help someone else out i post a thread, Thats how i am dont like it dont look at my posts

Pay no attention to it. In New York they raise a finger to change lanes. It's nothing personal. Just their NY hospitality. :p

I guess as long as the title describes well the content of the post, (say it's a question and specifically what it's about) I don't have a problem with it. For those who are not interested, they can pass it by. There are always new people that have the same questions and/or answers that some of us had a long time ago. I don't understand why some guys get so wound up about it.

I REALLY don't like the posts that have a title that gives no clue what it's about.

(moderators are pre-treated with a flame retardant :p )

As a new guy around here I'm glad X asked the question. I'm looking at doing the same thing and am grateful for the informative replies. Why do something the hard way if you don't have to and can alleviate effort by asking a simple question? Thanks X and everyone else who provided the great input. I would also like to see a pic when you're done X. :D

Nick, my point was to do a search to find the information before you ask a question. This topic HAS been covered because I have looked it up and found the answer myself. Obviously you didn't look hard enough. If a product I had purchased came without instructions, my first action is to call the company and find out. Maybe they didn't make it into the box. Maybe they would like you to write up some instructions for them. When David suggested this, you slammed him. I believe you owe Mr. Muench an apology.

I couldn't agree more. He complains when somebody bashes him, yet dozens (hell, it seems like hundreds) of his own posts begin with "how do I ... " Then he follows that up with brags about what kinda bomb his truck's gonna be when people get through tellin' him how to put it together.

Well i dont want this thread shut down so ill try to be nice. .
