Yes, but the auto will not stand up to the power of the v-10. I guarantee that. Especially if the truck is driven hard like it was built to be at time. Dodge Auto Trannys are good in underpowered engine, sometimes not even good at that.

OMG, I CAN'T FRIGGIN BELIEVE MY EYES, THAT SRT10 HAS A THROTTLE CABLE WOOHOOO NO DRIVE BY WIRE BS LIKE ON THE NEW HEMI AND CUMMINS TRUCKS. FINALLY THE LAST REAL TRUCK SOLD. GOOD CHOICE :)

Why did you turn around and sell it, Hope you made him pay good for it :-laf

Paxton make a nice supercharger kit for it, using a Nova unit, worth looking into

DON'T DO IT! I put a Paxton Novi on my 97 V10 (professionally installed, by someone with alot of supercharger experience). POS! :( :-{} Numerous reliability problems, pulleys, belts throwing, overheating. My V10 was wonderfully powerful and reliable, until that point. Lesson learned.

Paxton's customer service in NON-existant. Can you tell it STILL gets me steamed, even 4 1/2 years later?

That SRT is awesome in stock form. Leave it be.

Haha. .

Actually, I sold the Viper last week to someone from Saudia Arabia (of all places). Some prince (from what I understand) heard about it, and paid cash. . Must be nice to own a few oil wells.

Yea, sure you did!   :-laf :-laf :-laf

I agree. . I wasn't aware they actually made 4 door SRT 10 versions. Nice looking truck, but I woulda went with the 6 spd manual and two door version. . Of course, my CTD is a 6 spd as well, so Im kinda partial to that shifting thing. .

Now you just need twin turbos on that thing and you can race Supras with it or your "twin turbo" Viper :-laf . Or not.

Yeah, maybe next time the Supra will actually show up on the night previously agreed too for the actual race, and not change the date anonymously

Why not go for a re-match then?

Dude, for you and all the other Supra groupies, I wasted an entire evening sitting at the track at gate 2 the night it was supposed to go down, and left numerous messages for a guy name Garth (or something like that). As far as I am concerned, they had no intention of showing up. We showed up, truck, trailer, car, ready to go. They didn't, got the picture?

Since then we sold the car (which is what we do for a living, regardless of what some of you have responded with), so the race ain't going to happen.

Now, look at the title of this thread. Where do you see Supra in it? Hmmm, I don't see anything about a Supra or a pending race. I see it has to do with a dodge SRT 10 truck, get it? Its not about the prior time-wasting top end speed contest that I got the run around on. So to you and all the other want-a-bees that want to keep chiming away on it, it's an old, stale subject.

Move on, or move over, its a done deal. Oo.

This is Frank, crobertson1's assistant at his desk. He's not really a Supra groupie. In fact he just learned about how fast Supras can be when properly modded in a thread here on TDR. In fact it was in a hi-jacked 4 disc torque converter thread. Yeah, it got hi-jacked by someone challenging someone else to a race. It was quite entertaining. Some dude claimed he had a "twin turbo" Viper that had a lot of horsepower and couldn't be beat. The Viper guy apparently never showed up for race on the right night. It was pretty funny.

The Viper guy even showed his "dyno" charts. That was followed up by some dyno charts from hi-po lawnmowers and such. Really funny.

When crobertson1 gets back from his business interest in Alabama, he'll get back to you. What's wrong with Sponge Bob anyway?

This is all meant in fun BTW. :D No offense.

Some of you guys need to let things go, I was amazed that I made it through the first page with out someone sayin something, then the 2nd page showed what I expected...

Anyway, Hasselbach, BEAUTIFUL truck, probably the only gas powered new vehicle I would love to own!

 Sorry, no picture - just VIDEO of you not showing up. I don't need to say anything more - the video speaks for itself:

Video - GPS time/date tells the tale
