It has finally arrived... ... . Man it's awesome. Got a call from the Dealership on Friday saying they had it and were prepping it for delivery. After three hours in the dealership doing the inspection and waiting for the paperwork, I took it home and installed all the "stuff" that I have been ordering while waiting.

It took about 6 weeks. I ordered it on January 29th. What a GREAT feeling to finally have the truck I have been waiting for since 1995.

Question for guys with AFE MegaCannon or something similar... ... is it supposed to sound like a jet plane all of the time? Did I screw something up during installation... ... sure didn't seem too hard.

Congrats... I also ordered on Jan 29th too... but mine just got to "J" status on March 15th - that is over 6 weeks now and I've got to wait at least 2 weeks if not 3-4 weeks for it to get delivered. I guess if it shows up sooner, great, if it shows up later, then I'm not as disappointed, but boy, do I ever have the itch to be sitting in my truck.

You've been waiting since 1995??? WOW!!! I've been waiting 2 years to get myself out of CC debt til I ordered mine.

Of your inspection, did you use what was on the dodgeram.org site? Did you find anything not quite right?

Anyway, have fun driving that truck. I'm sure I'm taking a day or two off when I get mine so I can just go and drive it when I want to!!!

New Truck

Schu777... ... I can't believe you are STILL waiting. Anywho, I did use the inspection sheet on the dodgeram.org and found three VERY minor things. The driver's door inside panel has some discoloration along with the passenger side quad door. The driver's side 2500/Cummins maneplate is not straight. Had them write it up as repairs so that the service manager doesn't try and squeak by. That's it.

Oo. WooooHoooo Congrats to you new truck owners..... Damn I wanna new one too :(

If only they still made new Properly valved versions... .

I could have kept my Ford F250 Gasser for another year until the 2003's were out, but I am not quite sure about the new look of the 2003 and wasn't into trusting my, only rebuilt once in 56,000 total miles, E40D transmission for another year. So I took the dive and am loving it... ... neighbors haven't started complaining... ... . yet. Maybe a straight through exhaust? What an AWESOME rig! Oo. :D :D

Can't wait to start using it as designed with my 11' Lance Camper and 24' Boat.
