got quad, afe, and new muff on.

well, I put the Quad Z on (Quadzilla DXZCRS) $415, 0, 30, 60, 100. put the WLK-17224 $75. 00. and had the AFE drop in the box in right after I got the truck in 03. It runs great now. and sounds great too.

need to get ext temp gauge now.

Quad is 3 plugs and a switch. Took me 1/2 hour max without mounting the switch. It would take me 10 minutes now that I know what to do. Doing the switch right took some time.

I just got the same box and installed it. I would like to mount the switch were the lighter is. I think this would be a handy spot. Any ideas. I sure like the power.

On the opposite side of the dash from the cigar lighter is a removable plate (used for airbag switch in standard cab) with good clearance behind it and you can take it out to drill it and still retain the 12 volt source of the lighter. Thats where I put mine not a far stretch to reach.

With a manual you can get a puff of smoke at low rpm when you nail the throttle, but it cleans up as soon as the turbo spools.



Everyone with an auto I've talked to says there's no smoke, just lots of power.

I mounted my switch below the auxillary power outlet on the dash, in the wrap around bezel that seals off the heater ducts to the transmission tunnel. I mounted it about 2" to the left of the cup holder. It pops right off, and theres holes in the structure behind which I routed the wire through. I do have to lean forward to change the setting, but it puts the switch in an inconspicuous location. Had my truck in to the dealer three times and they've never noticed it.



Mine will produce some smoke on level 4. Just enough to know I'm not running stock!

No Smoke on Level 4, at WOT. That Muff sounds great. I can hear the turbo spin up faster now with the new muff.

So it looks like the SO's can use up more of the added fuel on level 4. Add an AFE to it and you'll really hear the turbo... ...

Yep!, Now it won't run white smoke off of them 285's I have on it, but it now let's me keep up in traffic now. and pass and pull onto the hwy with out Keeping it WOT just to get up to speed, put I do some times just to hear go, ( and my diesel fuel too).
