I bought the truck last March (06). The guy I bought it from had wrecked the right side of the body, the cab roof was rusted through and the glass was broken. Its a 1991 intercooled 5 sp 4x4 with approx 307 K on the clock.

I got the truck and: replaced the cab with a donor truck I got for 150 delivered. I had to do the floor pan mod and change the floors around. Items that are new, if I can remember it all, Totally new brakes from front to back, drums -n- wheel bearings, master cyliinder, windshield wiper motor, windshield, gaskets, front clip, radiator, custom made bumper, grille, headlights, cab lights, marker lights, taillights, rear bumper, tailgate, clutch, transmission re-done, pressure plate, throw out bearing, tires, radio, aux. fuel tank, transfer pump, borgsen steering shaft, power steering pump and hoses, alternator, water pump, belt, drag link, frame has been painted. I also linseeded the underside of the bed, tarred the underside of the cab and inner fenders.

Special thanks goes to those of you that have helped me out tremendously here at TDR. Special thanks to TDR member "Moving Violation" as he is always there when he is needed for his expertise. Thanks Al !

There are more things to do yet, but it is at least on the road. I have to do the seats yet, out of a 98 Quad cab, gauges, pump mods and sticks yet. I will get there, just takes $$ (which is now in short supply):-laf

Looks awesome! :) What's the floor pan mod? Putting in the wider hump? I've got an '86 cab I have to put on my '92. I saw they were different.

I cant find the thread for it. The cab I had was an auto. My truck is a 5 sp. I had to cut out my 5 sp hump and cut out the auto hump and put mine in the auto cab. Screwed, glued, sealed and rust proofed. It makes it really nice to get to the top of the trans now. Beats having to pull the trans and is also easy to fill the trans up for fluid changes, or just a quick look-over.

Thanks, that's what I thought! My donor is an auto too. I'll be doing the screwed, glued, and tattooed thing! :-laf
