It's messing with my head. I get in it and turn the ignition on, waiting for the coil light to go out. I still can't get used to the low-end power, and after two days I still let it idle so the turbo that isn't really there cools down properly. The fuel tank also drains a lot quicker than the the larger 2500 Cummins tank, and I'm still getting about 17MPG. I got the truck because it was only $5 over the free Neon I would have got. I guess that because all the controls are in the same place I forget and think it's my truck. Interesting experience, but I guess that was comes from not having driven a gasser for two years, and jumping into something so similar. I do like the darker, charcoal-looking interior though. The gasser loan truck is an `05, probably with a 6 banger (doesn't say Hemi), but lot's of low end power. BTW, no problems with my truck, just the 50,000 mile checkup.
