Got rid of my truck....no more auto's for me

it just feels to me like alot of the power just disappears between the engine and the tires.

A built auto with a great t/c with help a LOT. My stock 47RE was slipping and, the t/c was so sloppy, I literally gained 10# of boost by just getting a good trans in the truck. Went from 30, to 40#. Oo. Can blow smoke in first gear now. Night and day difference. Can actually load the engine down.

Still prefer a handshaker, though.

i went to an auto because i couldnt keep any of my nv4500's (all 5 of them) together, broke one billet input shaft, the rest were internal failures. i doubt i will ever go back to a handshaker, even though theyre more fun
