I got a good price on getting IT. It only cost me $6. 83 for 24 months and I can transfer It fromany one of my cars and truck and motor home. :-laf I think that very cheap. They started out 266. 73 for 24 months and because our Chrysler has a Sirius radio and Its free for a year Is the reason we got a better price. But next time look out I guess. I bought the Sirius Sportster SP-1 which works very well for me.

I too just got my Sportster SP-1 in my truck. You got the deal because any additional receiver that is put on the same Sirius account gets a discounted rate of ~$6. 99. I put my Sportster mount below the stick shift between the cupholders. BTW, I have the antenna in the lower corner of the winshield driver side. Not too many problems with signal dropping out. It usually happens when I am stopped under a bridge or near a lot of tall buildings.

You definitely got a great deal enjoy.

I never dream It would work as nice as It does. My sister Is getting It also so I have talk her to get hers on mine account which she gets a discount and the next time I half to pay I will get a discount again??

I have the sportster in my Laramie. What you might consider is a new and I think better antenna location. Try this..... Remove the tail light from the top of your cab there is a hole inside at the top. Push the wire through and pull all the slck inside the truck now run the wire around the rear window under the headline there is a big gap allowing for an easy finger push. Rout it down in the corner and under the floor trim up to your dash lower center location and you are in SWEET! I trimed the installation mount plate to fit in my drink holder and it looks great and is easy to use or remove. By the way the antenna then mounts dead center ahead of the tail light and if you use the wire hider they give you it looks factory and you can forget about it!

I ran my cable near the trim of the "C" pillar, under the floorboard, and up thru the rear of the front console. I also have the Sirius Sportster. . bought an additional docking kit for my 2001 Dodge Neon (daily driver). One subscription and two vehicles makes it nice.

Home Docking Station

I have the same Sportster set up. I recommend the Home Docking Station too. It easily connects to your home stereo with the supplied jacks. All you do in plug the supplied cable into one of your avilable Audio Inputs, (like a TAPE1 that you aren't using) and turn it on. Since you are plugging in directly to the amp, there isn't the tunig into an FM frequency like you car station.
