Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Got the full Banks kit, can I do injectors as well?

The initial reason my father went the Banks system was to retain the factory warranty, which in the case of his particular dealer was OK. He confirmed this with written verification.

My father also at times lets other people drive his truck, those folks aren't as conscientious of the happenings of a modified diesel, ie egts and boost. The Banks system set limits for the driver, and not vise versa. Yes the system is expensive, but so is piece of mind.

Now that the warranty is running out he is considering running an after market injector. It has been said that egt's will climb to fast to see the full effects of an injector upgrade and the module will defuel. Can this can be circumvented through an aftermarket turbo, which I am sure he will do if injectors come into play?

Thanks your input.

I think the answer is almost always yes to larger turbos decreasing EGT if all other things stay unchaged and assuming the exhaust piping downstream is all =>4". I once moved my EGT probe to pick up temperature after the exhaust housing ilnstead on from the exhaust manifold---of couse that leads to a false EGT.

I've posted for some more learned remarks on EGT and molecular changes in critical engine materials (valves, pistons, etc). I have an awful lot of money in my truck and the modifications to date and would like to have it running with no degredation at 300K. Like all used cars, our trucks used values are at best a shock to me and sometimes near heart attack levels they are so low. This makes me concerned about the performance mods that push EGT high regardless of the smile factor. The power = heat is the fundamental formula to beat. The current flavor of the month is Twins but I think they're pretty expensive and I think the boost pressures get into head gasket failure range.

I've questioned Banksf a few times about the limitations of the Big Hoss 5 in terms of its fueling characteristics and haven't gotten satisfactory answers (IF THEY KNOW). Assuming the EGT rise rate or defueling temp limit wasn't a factor, will the Banks Big Hoss (or Otto Mind) provide enough modification to get the most of DDIII's or something more aggressive??
