I would like to say just how terrible I felt yesterday when I opened the mail and read the "letter. " The Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission, our version of the EPA, sent me a hate letter because, get this, my CTD made BLACK SMOKE! Oh the horrors!

Someone saw me and called their Stallinesque "rat on the neighbors" phone number as I was leaving work. The letter does not require me to do anything. That was probably good because it pretty much eliminated the profanity that I considered putting on the reply card. I am sorry that I had run out of obsolete phone books on which I usually tape such post paid mail to.

Wonder what 1st class mail rate is on a Dallas yellow pages?

Y'all are all just such evil people for telling me how to do such evil things. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I beat you Scot!!!! Got mine early this year. I was smoking as I entered the freeway at 5:00 AM. I simply threw it into the trash. I dare them to try to make me fix something that's not broke!!!!

SMOKE on Brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P. S. Heavy smoke for me is a very slight haze under acceleration as boost builds. And it only does this before it reaches operating temp.

Oh great....

I just got my Ram 2 weeks ago, but the fun I have to look forward to now.

Some of these folks that think this stuff up need to get a real job!

You whould take the spring out of the boost diaphram plunger and then cruise by their house... . That will show them what smoke IS!

I took mine out for a couple days once... . Lots of power... . but It starts to look like that old viedo game "Spy Hunter" with the smoke screen going on.

Spy Hunter - Now you are really dating yourself there! Haven't played that game in YEARS. - opps - I'm dating myself now.

I've always wondered if you could send large items by applying a postage paid envelope or card to it - so that really works?? Do you need to do anything special besides tape it to it??

Thanks

Dan

Dan,

I am not sure about whether you are *supposed* to be able to tape the envolope/card on or not. I have done it frequently and the BATF/FBI has not shot up the house yet. In fact John McCaniac recently recieved his own 92/93 Dallas yellow pages! :D

All I usually do is tape up the phone book well with clear tape and tape the card to it and drop it in the mail box.
