Vibe First Visit.....

I guess I should have renewed my membership before I ploped down cash for this thing. You guys have given me that same old bad feeling I used to get from the TDR 10 years ago.

That being said? this thing has a vibe and Im not even interested in dealer visits. I bought it new on 03/20/2019. It had 15 miles on it with a slight vibe, I thought a simple change in wheels and tires and a good balancing would dial it in, wrong!!!!!

So i just listed it on craigs for CHEAP!!!!!

Im out

Too early to tell, and I’m not interested in dealing with it at all. Been there done that.

Sad thing is I’ve had two tundras since I left the TDR in 2009. Both trucks never saw a dealer. It’s no one fault but mine buying this thing. Let’s face it The Cummins is the only thing selling these things. The rest of the truck is marginal at best....

You obviously have had a very different Toyota experience than I did, so good for you. Biggest pile of #$%& I ever owned. Best of luck to you, sir. On Edit: Second biggest pile of #$%&.

Lol....

All my friends have these things, they’ve got vibes too....,

They just deal with it. I told all them all they can give my ass a huge smoooooch for not saying anything

Vibrations between a Tundra (worthless) and a Ram CTD would be significant, maybe thats all it is. My Tundra comment is from a person that only buys Toyota's cars or Tacoma's, see my sig. The Tundra is just a passenger car disguised as a truck, therefore it rides like a passenger car. Why would you buy a very expensive truck that had a vibration you didn't like prior to purchase?

Giving up? Remember this is my third dodge Cummins. And yes the tundras are a glorified el Camino but with 400 lbd torque....

I bought the 2500 cause I know the motor....

Tell you what tho. This will be either a quick sale, or lemon law issue. The process behind this Wednesday to start the paper trail. Who know maybe Carson City dodge in Nevada can fix it before someone buys it. I like the truck, you just can’t go faster than 60 with out the vibration giving you a woodie!!!!!!

I have owned Chrysler vehicles of some sort since 1972 and never gave up on any of them. You seem highly motivated to go Toyota so good luck with your sale and your future Toyota.

Toyota is an awesome product, just don't like the Tundra, even in its inception as the T100. If Toyota would equip the Tundra with a proper frame, it would be a better product and more capable. Now the Tacoma is another story, it's not a pretender and their value is unbeatable, its just a 1/4 ton truck, and thats just its only weakness.

I think your jumping the gun, but thats fine. Its a nice truck, someone will enjoy it, sucks ifyou paid the sales taxes and reg and doc fees thats the biggest waste, I have friends who jump from new car to new car I don't know how they do it with the taxes and fees lost.

I'm on a GM forum for my 2019 Suburban, they can be a bunch of idoits at times over there when the find out your daily driver is a Ram, I don't see where you have been pushed to sell your truck from the TDR folks. I was able to push thru the idoits over there because I have always owned a chevy of some sort since I started driving, it has its issues as does my ram, but show us one that does not have issues.

Best of luck with you sale.

You’re an eeeeeeediot for buying it with a KNOWN problem.

Minimally you could have worked the deal, gave the dealer a few days to remedy the problem, then signed, given the issue was fixed.....

Ram, Chevy, Ford.

They all have problems,

My daughter has the red Ford 1st Gen Raptor, it has a lot of road noise, we opted out of the extended warranty for her's big mistake, its very loud, the panel fitment is a joke, quality is way down.
