Airborne Camper

New Cummins Front engine Motorhome

I took the plunge and bought an air ride hitch. Wifey says it is the best money we spent so far. That should tell you how much it helps with her in the passenger seat, imagine the difference for the driver. She filled a measuring cup 1/2 full of water when we left the campground and put it in the microwave. When we got home the water was still there. None had spilled. I like it so much I got one for the bumper pull also! :D

My 5er weighs 10,680 lbs. I took out the neck of the gooseneck trailer and put a king pin on it. Now I use the one hitch to pull both my trailers. I air it up till the lines are even and take off. When I unload of course the weight is not as great so I let out a little and get going. I have hauled as little as 2500 lbs on the 25ft and up to 10k. It is an easy rider. A person would have to feel the difference it makes to believe it.

I notice you said you have an Easy Rider bumper pull as well. Is that a receiver type hitch? Have you used it yet? How did it perform? What weight class is it and how much did it cost? Currently looking at a Class 6 air ride receiver hitch of another make. Thanks in advance for the info.

Both are easy rider. Mine is good for 17,500 lbs of trailer and 1,750 of tounge weight. You can actually see the trailer gliding up and down. No more harsh bumps. Like wifey said, money well spent. If you figure an expensive trailer with cargo and a new truck I think a little more to protect it is smart. If you go to the website, call and ask for Kerrie she will give you 10% off and free shipping. I told her about our diesel club!! Mention my name.
