Do you loosen or tighten the screw in the back of the pump to alighn the arm with the plate? I have it screwd all the way in and it hasent movwd close to it yet H E L P PLEASE

When you make the adjustment you are raising or lowering the arm, you should adjust the arm then advance the throttle and see were it hits the plate. WARNING watch it when backing the screw out so as not to drop it in the pump, I've seen this done! Another thing is if you advance the throttle and hold the Gov arm there it will put the screw in a different alignment so it's easier to get to... ... Someone else chime in here.

Thanks buddy, hows the truck doing! If you do drop the screw, after you fish it out using a small piece of vaccume hose to hold it while you rethread it in there works wonders.

Thanks Jim I got it adjusted last night what a pain, but everything worked out well. No more hesitation from a dead stop, the arm was getting stuck under the plate . Rick

The truck is running great and with the new SB Con O clutch is awsome. Had to move the plate back a little to keep wheel spin on corners down a little.

That seems to be a common accurance with the arm getting stuck, When I put the #4 plate in I had to lower my arm to get it nose to nose again.

John, that's cool about spinnin around corners, when I did the DTT transmission I completely had to re-learn how to drive the truck.
