Happy New Year, Everyone. Looking at a '91 D350 for a friend. It doesn't want to trottle back after warmed up. He just bought it and says the previous owner had his employee turn up the fuel, but admitted they didn't know what they were doing. After cold start, it will throttle back to idle, but after warmed up, it stays at the last throttle position when the trottle is released. Any thoughts, or suggestions? Thanks

try turning down the full fuel screw, you may have it turned in too far. That's what I heard happens and it means you are bordering on a runaway condition, do a search on this

First make sure that the throttle is returning to idle position before doing any real "work".

You can have a sticking throttle cable/peddle so give that a good 'look-see' first...

Thanks for the help, guys. I did verify throttle cable etc. first, it was OK. I turned the fuel screw out one turn and that took care of the problem. Thanks again.
