Spring is now in and I'm ready to smoke some ricers! I just got home from installing my GSK 366 spring from PDR. Many thanks to P-Bob for the detailed instructions. the install was smooth, with only one glitch. In the instructions it said you may be able to remove the pump top without removing one or two of the screws, full fuel, high & low idle. Well I didn't realize that it meant the full fuel was MANDATORY and the other two possibly not. You can take the pump top off with the full fuel screw in, but you can't reinstall it. It will hit the spring loaded lever. In the process of all this I put a knick in the thread of the screw and boogered up the thread a bit. Now I'm just going to be praying everytime I drive it for the next few days that I didn't get any metal shavings in the pump!!! :{ Anyway I ran it out real good, it started right up BTW and now I think I need a tach. My EGT shot straight up to 1200 on the flats going over 85 on the freeway... Full Fuel down a bit and now it is just right. Making almost 30 PSI boost. And NO DEFUELING before shifts!! I'm not close to being a runaway diesel but right now I don't have enough air or headgasket or head integrety to push this old gal anymore. My Bombs are done for a long while. My friend just bought a Ferd Lightning supercharged truck and after I lose in a drag to him, I may be tempted to up it somehow a little later, but right now it is sweet.
BTW just wondering what pump treak settings everyone has with the GSK? BTW I didn't grind the foot... I may do it later, it really smokes enough right now, I'm already #@$%! off too many other drivers... Sooner or later I may accidentally turn an old white and black Highway patrol cruiser all black!

Not bad for the oldest cummins truck out there!
