Hi guys and gals. I am posting this here because this is where my friends are, not those "other" sections.

My youngest just graduated from highschool tonight. I know what your thinking, but you must realize my oldest wasn't born untill I was 30. Just started late i guess.

ANYway, I am so proud of my sons. They don't drink, do drugs, get into trouble, steal other peoples things, rob banks, ect. They both have jobs, no unwanted babies.

One, my oldest son Levi, owns a good lookin' first gen diesel. The other has a gas pot. Still a dodge though.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, all you dads out there that already have watched your last child graduate have felt what I am feeling. A sence of accomplishment, pride, and lonliness. The fact that they are good people reflects on my wife and I as parents. We did the best we could and it seems to have worked out well. I just wish I could have gotten an owners manual. The hospital told me they were out of stock so we had to wing it.

Well, I don't want to ramble and bore you guys. I just wanted to share.

And now you ask, what did you get him for a present? That's simple. A bed, a chair, and luggage. We laughed, he frowned, and life goes on.

Hi Dave

Congradulations:D :D I'ts a good feeling when a plan comes together and they turn out so well. I know my three are a source of pride for me too.

Dave,

It sounds like you have every right in the world to be proud! Raising kids in the world in it's currnt state is not the easiest thing to do. To have them turn out well is down right difficult! AS for the other emotions, I have that to go. I really started late. My first (and only, so far) was born 17 days after my 40th birthday.

I've never met you, but I've heard good things about you from Bob. Congratulations on YOUR accomplishment.

Congrats!

Good news is always great:D Thank you for sharing your accomplishment in your kids Bob. I bet you both have worked hard. I know we continue giving the best we can... My son is in the Air Force as a Firefighter, the two girls will be getting through high school soon enough. I thank God for all the good my kids have become. It's nice to reflect on them when got to "keep on trucking" for a living. It makes it all worth every hour of labor. ;) Patrick.

Congratulations Dave!

When I left home 13 years ago to begin life as we know it I never would have thought how much I would enjoy going "home" to visit. Dad and I went hunting together for first time when I was about twelve and we still do it quite often today:)
