2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Gray Front Bumper Insert????

I hate the ugly gray plastic insert found on the front bumper of my SLT. Has anyone tried to paint it? cover it up? Spray it with Rino lining? etc... ... I've seen one that looked like it had been spray painted black... . looked good from afar but really cheap up close.

There was a guy back home that had done the Line-X lining to his and it looked very nice.

I had the complete front bumper assembly replaced on mine, due to punting a Buick. I had the inset painted to match the lower color of body. Looks real good and is staying put.

Do you have any photos of your front end? I think I'm going to try the Line-X or Rhino Liner.
