It's dark out and I don't have my owners manual at my GF house. Is there grease fittings to grease? Sorry if it sounds stupid I'll look tomorrow as I just did the oil yesterday for the first time which went easy. Thanks & Happy safe New Year!
Sorry but D. C. thinks we need no grease fittings , however you can drill and tap for them. do a search on this and you will find enough info to get it done ... ... . Kevin
yes they are correct, there are only 3 greasable joints on the 2000 and up trucks that still have all factory componants in the suspension. The two upper ball joints and the track bar(this one is very important to keep greased unless you wish to spend $300^ at your dealership or aftermarket parts store around the time your warrenty runs out or shortly after). .
DD--the track bar is the rod running from the axle to the frame on the truck. it is on the axle on the passenger side over to the frame on the driver's side. the idler arm goes from the steering box to the tie rod. the zerk IS on the frame--driver's side end of the track bar... ... ... my mistake.
