Redeye, I had my trip computer replaced a while ago and the dealer got some grease on my headliner and I used some Bisiel stain and spot remover. You can buy it a Walmart or any other department store. I used it because I have one of those littlegreen machine carpet cleaners that I use in my truck when the I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER gets too deep. The cleaner worked great, I sprayed it on and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes and then scrubed it with a cloth and the stain came right out, rinsed it with a little water and a clean rag and you couldn't even tell there was a stain there.

Hope that helps

I don't know if this helps or not but..... I took my dodge to the dealer to readjust the headliner. It wasn't positioned right and you could see gaps. Well they fixed it..... Got greasy fingerprints all over the plastic pillar covers and headliner. Well I went in to complain and the manager came out with a squirt bottle of some clear stuff and cleaned it all up. Said it was common amongst dealers. I'd give yours a call maybe they know what it is.

very simple....

use brake cleaner! It's the same chemical as dry-cleaning solution, just in an aerosol can! spray it on, wipe with a terry towel... repeat as necessary. Wont harm texture or dye. Works on your clothes as well!

They may use brake cleaner for dry cleaning in your area but a federally approved "Actrel" is used for commercial dry cleaning. Actually no similarities between it and brake cleaner as far as their chemical make-up.
