Competition DHRA Pull at The 4x4 Jamboree, April 30

Had a blast on the dyno today.

Pulled a 623hp with no correction factor on the DynoJet. EGTs were a cool 1250 degrees.

I have had a little bad luck the past couple of months with a few things breaking, but today made it all worth while.

Gotta thank the DTT family for the transmission, Olee Poole for the twins, TST and Edge for the boxes, and Don M for a great set of injectors.

This is what BOMBING is all about.

Good job Man!! It's nice to have an injector that up HP and drops EGTs. Keep up the good work Don. Thanks Brandon for going with my twins THANKS again.

Keep up the good work Brandon! What series of Olees twins are you running? Also what boost #'s and mods for keeping your head sealed?

So whats it take to get in touch with you? I've only called once because I am sick (didn't leave a message), but 3 emails, 1 PM, and still no reply? The very first email (not mentioned) was replied to with a 5 word reply.

Just wondering.

Brandon when are you going back to dyno? I want to see a pull in OD should pick up a few more HP.

I'm going to try to get back on the dyno this week if I find the time. I've been told maybe 15-20 more hp in OD compared to 3rd gear.

I understand it's an inertia dyno thing but I have to question the accuracy of any dyno that gives you diffrent numbers in diffrent gears. Power is power and when plotted up next to rpm should be the same number. If the dyno doesn't load enough to build boost, thus causing low numbers, I have to wonder. Not looking for a dyno war here either.

Overdrive will load the motor more causing you to have more boost (depending what the boost is on the dyno compared to the street) if your able to get more boost to help better burn with the fuel it will have more HP.

After my next round of upgrades - injectors and exhaust, I want to dyno to check inprovement, and will be trying 5th gear to compare with previous dyno runs, and also in 6th, since that is where I normally am, even when towing in the hills... I noticed on the dyno runs made with both the old truck, and now the '02, I sure don't see NEAR the 32 PSI boost I get in the hills actually towing - so I'm pretty sure there's more power there than what the dyno can see and report...
