Haha, thats funny. Can't say I've seen something like that before. Windows down works well enough for me out here in Cali. Sorry though hammer... have not tried one.

Local news here has a segment called "Deal or Dud. " They tested that device to see if the claims were true or not. What they found out was that it was a dud, it only dropped the temp in the car a whole 2* not the advertised 20* on their commercial. I think the tv commercial stated car #1 was 107* and car #2 was in the lower 80's. Car #2 had the autocool in it.

I saw that ad and I love to watch them with their selling words runaround. I had learned something in media and direct advertizement class. One key thing is when they said in the TV ad when the two cars were parked next to each other "The temperature in THIS car is 20* cooler " Notice they NEVER said that the Auto cooler made this car 20* cooler but the sugestive filming sure makes you believe that that 9. 99 dollar woner unit did the job. Now there are variables that they use in key advertizement but do NOT have to disclose.

Parked in the shade NEXT to the other

a lighter color versus the Darker car next to it

Can you see ALL of BOTH cars parked next to each other? Betchya the rear windows are down on the other.



Ahhh the world of paid advertizement.

We have a local TV with a segment called 'Get Gephard". He bought one and had the local police dept. test it on a couple of police cars. It did not work as advertised! Not worth it was Gephard's claim.
