CUMMINZ,

That looks like a miniature bear snack in the last picture :-laf . I hope that isn't what's defending you at night  .

Sorry man... ..... couldn't resist. No offense to the tiny critter ;) .

do you have a transmission gauge? if so what were those temps? i am sure they got on up there pulling those grades. . is that near boone blowing rock area?

transmission guage

I do not have. My engine temp did move to 200 but I don't know about transmission. I was just south of Spruce Pine. Can you put guage easy on stock 48re?

thats one heck of a setup ya got there!!! nice stuff! I love the hood!

bear bait! ahhaha nice!

those are some grades! Ever think of running electric fans? I dont run em but then again I dont haul that much in any mountainous hills.

cumminz, nice pics, i hapy to hear that it run out allright,i dont pull much if any but, i did not like the idea of putting a hole in my pan and waiting for it to leak, and my atranny man said that the lines tend to crack when u screw with them, so i bought a mag hytek pan for the extra 4. 5 qts of oil and cooling ability, and its tapped for a sending unit, since u tow some it would be nice to have the extra oil in the transmission, but anyhow if u want there are i think 2 places u can put the sending unit in the lines, and it actually will give u a more accurite reading of how hot the oil is coming out of the transmission,im sure that someone can tell u exactlly where the sending unit can go in the lines... have fun camping

Hood

Hood is my original from Dodge and I had dealership order the hood scoober and install it. (Scoober from Dodge)

Noticed this is your first trip with the new trailer. It is a Sprinter, how'd you like it? We just bought a Sprinter this past weekend and haven't taken delivery. Sprinters look like a good bang for the buck. Everything work ok?

BTW, nice looking rig.

Hoof Hearted

We looked at I know a hundred different units at Raleigh, NC and Savannah, Ga. shows last month. We made a downpayment on a unit in Savannah and when we got back to Charlotte ended up buying this one. We love it. The only thing I have changed is an upgrade to the 15" wheels and tires to 10 ply 16"s. It trailers very well. Hope you enjoy yours.
