Hello all,
It's not everyday you get to deal with genuinely good people in the retail business, but today was one of those rare days.
A few months ago I bought a set of DiPricol gauges (EGT, boost, Trans. temp) from Geno's Garage. I wasn't able to get around to installing them, so I put them away in the stock room of my friend's repair shop. Well, I finally have the time and when I went to get my gauges out of the stock room, I found that the teenage helper (no longer employed at the shop) took a bunch of stuff out of the stock room and put it in the storage trailer. Of course this included a box containing my gauges and all the accessories needed to install them. Well, I went to the storage trailer, found my box and to my surprise, the gauges were there, but the thermcoupler, boost fitting and trans. temp sensor where gone. .
.
Well, I called Geno's to order the parts I needed and was fully prepared to shell out some cash for the parts. I spoke with Andy, explained to him what happened and he said that he'd look up the parts I needed and get back to me within an hour. Not more than 30 minutes later, Andy called me back and said that while these items are normally sold as a package with the gauges, they could help me out. .
. Andy sold me the parts at very reasonable prices (a lot less than other retailers sell identical parts for) and would have them shipped out by the end of the day. So by next week, I should everything I need to install my gauges.
My hat's off to Andy and the rest of the guys/gals at Geno's Garage!!!
Ryan
P. S. : I’m in no way affiliated with Geno’s Garage, just a real happy customer that felt they deserved a bit of praise.
