I recently purchased an Isspro Pyro kit from Diesel Injection service (www.dieselpage.com) and installed it. Things worked fine for awhile, but recently the readings have been very erratic. I've checked all the connections, and everything seems fine. So, what to do?

Today I called them to ask for some tips. I talked to Randy, and he is going to send me another complete kit! He wants to me swap out parts one at a time to figure out what part is causing the problem. All they want back are the parts I don't need.

This is way beyond what I expected! I would have thought that they wanted the stuff returned, and they would send out replacements. I would have been fine with that. But to send me a complete new kit, and allow me to make sure I have all the best parts in working condition before returning the remaining parts is way beyond superior customer service. A huge thumbs up for Diesel Injection Service!

I guess I am a little late, but I gotta add my opinion. Not only do they have good prices but DIS offers genuine customer service, which is getting to be a rare thing these days.

Scott,
Back to the original problem - I have an ISSPRO pyro also. Have had it in for 2 years, twice I've had problems with erratic readings. Tap on the gauges and they start to work. My problem has been a broken wire both times close to where it hooks up to the back of the gauges. Move the wire and the connections around to see if the gauge bounces. Let me know what you find out.

Ok, I'll monkey with it a bit. I haven't got the replacement parts yet, so I have time to play with it still. It does seem that the connections at the gauge might cause problems because the wire has to make a 90 degree bend almost immediately due to the design of the pod. I might see if that is my problem.

PLEASE DO! I work in the grocery business, and the vast majority of comment cards we receive are complaints. All too often, people only speak up about poor service, but rarely about great service. This is too bad, because there are many, many companies that provide great service, but you might not know about it. As an elementary teacher told me many years ago, "Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative. " How true!
