Our OEM gauges are backlighted with green light. I wanted my ISSPRO gauges to match so I painted them (the bulb) green. Not quite right. Found this part # on the Auto Meter site. But, you CAN'T buy from Auto Meter. So I called my (now former) NAPA dealer and the guy said... . "no, that's a specialty item that we don't carry". "It would have to be special order and we don't do that".

I says... ... . "OK then, you just lost my $4,500 + account per year". "Have a nice day then".

My "NEW" NAPA dealer gets them for me. $6. 00 per bag of three including shipping. Oo.

Part Number 3215

Green gauge lights! :D

You should have asked, I think I have a bunch of those laying around the garage from all the gauges we've put in. It is nice to know you can get them from NAPA, I used them on mine, saved the rest, screw everybody else!!

Yep I probly have a bunch since I like the white light look. I rode in Philip's truck and I didn't like the green light look, even if it matched the dash gauges, seemed like I couldn't see them as well. . if ya need more let me know, I'll look for em...

Ive got the green to match the truck/and dash lights they look sweet!!!!

Ian

I have these in my AM guage's and they are very sweet! However, for the first couple of nights teh LED is DARK GREEN and hard to read but it will lighten up after a day or two to a regular Green and match the dash almost, the LED's will always be a bit darker.

The green back lighting makes the gauges appear darker, however, with the white light and six gauges staring at you, it was too much and bothersome. I wanted them to tone down so I painted but then they looked shamrock-ish and not enough green to match the OEM light.

Green Glow

When I mounted my 2" Banks Dynamax gauges in the space where the stock cargo lamp switch should have went, I did'nt want white light either. I found an assortment pack of bulb covers at Pep Boys that cost about $3. 00. The only problem was there were two green, two purple, and two red covers in the pack and I only needed the green. After two years the shade of green on the covers still match my stock instrument panel gauges. They are of a rubber type material that slips over the bulbs... the heat from the bulb bonds the color to the glass...
