I thought I would bring this back to the top and give you an update as to where Greg is on a release date.

This is the latest info from Greg. :D

It is getting very close.

Under the harshest desert conditions, at speeds in excess of 90 mph, the BHAF IAT sensor is reading only 10-20 degrees warmer than ambient air temp. That is great news for us and with the new Juice on my truck I have a hard time hitting 1300*

I would say that testing is almost complete and production units will be available in two weeks. The first 10 are going to be steel then the Carbon Fiber ones will come out.

With all due respect, my IAT sensor in my bone stock intake system reads exactly the same: 10-20 degrees above ambient. Consistently, day in and day out.

This is interesting info as so many have been concerned with the BHAF drawing engine heat. Sounds like there is enough air flow over the BHAF to keep the IAT just as cool as stock.

Thanks for the conformation on that Ryan,

We were expecting higher numbers from placing such a filter in the engine bay. With the added airflow from a BHAF and the same IAT readings, we will be able to support a higher horse power and not have to worry about under hood temps. This is also true with the 2nd gen trucks, I'm sure they will be happy to hear this too!

I was afraid you thought that 10-20 over ambient was an improvement over stock. Sorry for doubting you.

I'm curious what kind of shape you've got with the CF inlet tube. Got any pics?
