Here's my original grid heater contacts at 201,000 miles. They were replaced with Stancor 120-902 Power Contactors. I'm not sure they'd have made another winter in North Dakota.

NICE!!!!

They look shot. This is one thing I want to do, but seem to always forget about it.

I know there is a guy who sells the contacts, but cant seem to remember his name. Where did you get yours from?

I got the contactors through Allied Electronics (www.Alliedelec.COM)through the internet. Search the part number "120-902" in the TDR forum and the Allied web site for more information.

They are not a direct replacement. I had to manufacture a bracket. Total time for the project was about 4 hours, but I had lunch in that time period.

"That guy" is I, and I am he. :D

I went through two sets of OEM relays in the first four years I had the truck. 6 years now and the Stancor relays are still rock solid. (In 3 weeks, I'll've had the truck for ten years. )
