Recently had my grid heater replaced due to check engine light and air intake code. Today I started the truck and the heater came on before start and then threw a check engine light. Took it to the dealer and they checked it out, and was the same code as before when the grid heater was replaced. Although, this time there was a service bulletin out to check the batteries and replace the relay. I hope this solves the problem as I am sure tired of all the check engine lights I have gotten with this truck. Anyone else having issues with this?

I haven't had problems with the grid heater or having an air intake code. I have had the check engine light come on numerous ( 5 times) occasions. The code is normally the u-0001 can c bus ie lost communication. Dealer and Ram have not provided a fix or reason for the problem. Seems to happen at cold start and below 45-50 degree. Truck will run fine and the CEL will go off after about 4-5 days. See my post " truck losing communication" Love my truck except for this issue.
