Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Grid Heater Light will not Even Test!

Hi Guys (Gals too!)



I have a 99 CTD auto here that the Wait to start light will not come on in. I have changed the IAT and I voltage to the Solnoids but no action on the Trigger wires (Orange Brown etc) and no juice on the output on the solnoids (SP). All relays and fues in PDC are good. Whats going on?

Try resetting the ecm. direct connect the positive cables. turn the key to the run position and reinstall the positive cables with the key on.

can you explain that a little better? direct connect??? my brothers truck is doing the same thing and I have tried just about everything
