BTW guys, I did notice the last time my truck did this (a few days ago) the grid heater actuaclly quit cycling without being put in gear. If I remember correctly, isnt it supposed to cycle until you exceed 20mph or so? Just wondering if this could help diagnose any other possible culprits to the issue.
The Grid heater will stop cycling if the engine temp is in normal operating range or the intake temp rises above the preset value.
I have noticed lately that the heaters will cycle even if the outside temp. is above 60 deg.??? bgThe Grid heater will stop cycling if the engine temp is in normal operating range or the intake temp rises above the preset value.
