Grid Heaters

Are the new 03's using the grid heaters and the grid heater relays like the 2nd generations. I am posting this for a friend.

I disconnected my grids 2 months ago 'cause I got so annoyed at them running so often for no reason at all.

I don't believe they are the same in '04, as they advertise cold starts down to -30 without plugging in the block heater, and without waiting on the grid heaters.

What? It actually says the grid heaters will not come on until below -30!?!?!? If that's the case, then the '04 trucks are the most unique diesel engine I have ever heard of.

On my 04 they come on just like my four rams before this.
