I'm sure you have your new radiator by now. Does it look like this by any chance? The new OEM replacement is obviously aluminum, but the core is two inches thick compared to the original 2 1/4. How thick is the Griffin core?

That one looks like it has plastic tanks on it to me.

How much higher? Don't forget that the price of aluminium has increased significantly since Blair bought his.

Steel, aluminum, heck, my trailers have gone up a bunch this past year, and now I'm making less per unit profit wise then I was 4 yeras ago!

I sure wish I could have gotten a hold of one of these when I was driving OTR. I had all kinds of fun pulling the hills of CO, UT, NV, CA on southern CA trips in the summer (RVs). I have changed my radiator twice, once under warranty for the aftermarket unit that went bad but at the time it looked like Griffin wasn't operating or something. Summit Racing was the only place I could find them online and they kept saying no stock. I haven't followed this now for some time but I guess things are rolling again? Summit now shows they will have them in stock by 7-21-08. Griffin 5-594GR-BXX - - summitracing.com

Yes, start a new thread. Pics of the Griffin would be great esp. a side-by-side with stock. I dont think you'll have trouble getting 10 buyers @ near $100 off each!!
