Who makes grill inserts for the 2nd gen Sport models ?

I have searched the forums and found very little info. I am really hoping for a billet grill for my truck, but would entertain other styles as well. I don't need to worry about cold weather here, but want to use a grill insert to protect the radiator/coolers and for cool looks of course. I have found many for the non sport models, and some for the pre-99 sports, but I am pretty sure that the grill changed from 99 - 00 on the sports.

Thanks

thanks Kev, once I went to StreetScene's site I found out that they are within 1/2 mile from where I work, looks like the wallet will be lighter after lunch :D

damon!

I got the stull billet grilles from genos. Awsome looking excellent quality Check them out if you haven't purchased yet!! I see in your signature that you have an EZ with stock auto... How is it holding up? I was thinking of adding an EZ but wanted to hear from someone with experience with it!!

8000 miles now and so far so good with the EZ and stock auto. Before I bought the EZ, I asked the same question and got mixed responses. I think that the bottom line is if you got a good transmission from the factory, then it should hold with just an EZ. I am careful with keeping the RPM's up to keep pressures high, and I use OD only above 55, so I am hoping that it will hold up until I get a modified VB and TC and maybe a smart controller. It's only one big credit card charge away.....

Thanks for the tip on Geno's. I found them there this morning and they look nice. Did you have to cut the stock honeycomb out ?

Damon!!

Thanks for the trans input!! I think I will get one and see how I like it!! Yes I did have to remove the honeycomb grill. No problem though Just used a cordless drill with a 1/2" bit and removed the plastic tabs from the backside. The bumper inserts were a little tricky have to do some precise measuring so that they line up with each other when you are standing in front at a distance. Good luck!!!
