What are you guys using to keep the bugs out in summer and the heat in during the winter?

I have a piece of screen tucked between the grille and radiator for the bugs. Heat isn't an issue around here.....

We have a bug zapper out by the porch light and in the winter, we roll a towel and lay it in front of the door.

Dont drive at night; put a long sleeved shirt or jacket on. Hey, HE started it.



I like the screen idea. Never been much of an issue for me. As for heat, block all the pneumonia holes in the cab, mainly doors and trim. Plastic liner on Mom's driver door has peeled off, and lets in heat in summer, and a nice cool draft in winter. Your t-stat should regulate the temp of the water that the heater feeds off of. You can put some cardboard just behind the grille, dont block the radiator, for whatever reason, I cant remember right now. My male genetic donor has a real winter front, complete with the cheezy looking snaps. At least they look cheezy on the grille in the summertime.
