Some guy is trying to tell me he can reduce egts by grinding a 10.

It's always been my understanding that grinding will only increase fueling.

Does this guy know what he's talking about? He otherwise seems to be a pretty sharp mechanic.
 
Why would you gring a perfectly good plate, give him a stock one to gring on.



If you want to loose some temps slide it back, the #10 is a good plate!

Grind on a stock plate, why ruin a perfectly good #10 plate? As Joe said grinding is equivalent to moving the plate forward increasing fueling.
