Now that "Detroit" is making a "True-Trac" dif. for the front axles in our trucks (03-present) I made some calls and have the following information. I was quoted a retail price of $540. 79.

My installer in Big Fork Montana by the name of Walt Kenyon dba "Walts Place" at 406-837-5101 made some calls and got the following information on a "Group Buy".

Five units would go out at $472. 48.

Ten units would go out at $446. 23

These unit would come from "Randy's Ring and Pinion" the rep. there is Stacy at ex. 5503. "Randy's" number is 800-347-1188.

The units would go through Walt, so if your interested give him a call. Be patient, he is a one man operation and you may have to call more that once to get him.

What ever way it goes I'm in for one for sure. I have waited a long time for full time 4x4 ( all four wheels driving) when I need them.

If you have further questions you can iether e-mail me at -- email address removed -- or call me at 541-878-1496.

Lets get on these, guys, Larry

I already bought mine so if wee can get 4 more that would help. Plus I bought new carrier bearings while I was at it. Larry

This a good price. When does it end? I had decided I was gonna go with a Eaton e-locker but it is about twice the price. Convince me the TrueTrac is the way to go. Can't beat a switch, locked or unlocked. In very low torque situations (which is when you need it most) the TrueTrac and factory TRacRite tend to not work so well.

It's over, I have used these units for years and thats why I wanted one. I never tried to sell anyone on anything just reporting a good buy price. Good luck on whichever unit you decide on.
