Ordered mine today... have to wait. . and wait. . and wait for it to get here. . (was too cheap to pay for the extra shipping. . ). . You 4x4 guys. . ask about the 03 track bar upgrade/retrofit when you talk to Marv. . ;) I'll take one of those too...

Bryan

Me to thanks ASTAR and Marv :) now i have to decide witch track bar to run. Im planing on evetialy geting a Kore leveling kit so im woudering if i should go adjustable or not

it's spelled SASKATCHEWAN,sikos, hope this helps. Marv's only about 2. 5 hrs from me and yes i have ordered mine as well. I'd go pick it up but this working for a living gets in the way of a lot of stuff EH!

just ordered two for me. shipping was only $22 saved a little by ordering two at the same time. thought i let you guys know just incase anybody lives near each other and wants to save a few more bucks. cant wait to get it thanks to astar for getting it together!!! Oo.

I just installed mine tonight! I installed without any problems in 45 min. I just had one wrench smoke my jaw and then hit my head on the plow bracket but other than that it went off great, I used a shortened ratchet strap to help hold the sway bar back (pic) and it worked like a charm to help do it without any help. I had my boss EDM the inside of the socket to help fit the shaft extension.

Im impressed with the way it helped stiffen the front end and vibration when hitting a washboard/pot holes on the dirt roads

Thanks again ASTAR!!!

Got mine on this morning in about 45 minutes, including getting out the tools, and wiping them down/putting them up.

One thing I did notice, the nut securing the pitman arm was looser than I expected. I had my wrench and cheater bar ready, grabbed hold and it started to move with little effort. Based on the effort involved, I'd guess it was only on there with ~40-50 ft/lbs. I've read other posts on here where this was the case.

Other than that, there were no surprises. Intuitive install, good instructions, and a great product. I'm a happy customer! Thanks again Marv and AStar.

Mine was going on about as quickly as yours Duane, until my 16 year old twisted off one of the new sway bar bolts while he was torquing them to 40 ft-lbs. I am not sure how he did it, I had just torqued the driver's side using the same wrench, but the head snapped right off.

Another trip to Sears for a bolt remover and it came right out; no great harm done and I got to buy another new tool.

Anyway, it is good that the kids still like to play with dad.

Now for a test drive.

R U guys greasing this right after install? My zirc fitting was only finger tight.

Casey

Yes, and my grease fitting was also finger tight. I snugged it up a little when I noticed that it twisted with the grease gun end.

Duane

Finally got mine on and also did the '99 steering at the same time. OMG, what a difference!!! If anyone is at all unhappy with their steering feel at all, DO THIS MODIFICATION!!! Mine feels like a new truck again, and that's with 7. 5" of lift and 37" tires!

Thanks to Marv, awesome deal and great addition to the truck!!!

finally got around to installing mine earlier this week :)

Fit like a breeze and I guess now they pre-assemble the bearing stuff.

Everything went on fine and even though my steering was still pretty solid (96 with 214k on the odometer) it did tighten up the steering.

Well worth the money IMHO :D

Ok, interesting reading. Since Im "new", can you tell me what this thing is supposed to help with? Or kindly direct me to some threads, and I will do the research myself.

thanks,

:) Yowsa!... I'm on board too. Never taken advantage of one of these group buys before, but I've had my eye on one of these things for a while now.

Let you know how it comes out.

I just got mine this week in a destroyed box. I have no idea if everything is there or not. The directions are missing !!! I was expecting some kind of shock system. I will email Marv to see if he can email directions.

Does anyone have a pic of what the '03-newer units look like? I didn't realize such a thing existed. I loved mine on my '01 and have been thinking about beefing up my '04 'cause of the Rickson's.
