Group buy for NV5600?

So my gutbag is dying a slow death. No surprise with my power level I know! Lol



So after researching the options, I have decided to 5600 the 90. After speaking with Blumenthals they said it's about $3850 for the bugger including the $500 core.



Having joined forces with another Ontario TDR member who is looking for a 5600 as well, it looks like they will be able to knock off $500 or so for two of them.



I will throw the question out there as I like helping people as well as getting a good deal! If we are able to get 5600s at $3250 or less, does anyone else want to jump in? I am still a month or so off from finalizing the order so we have a few weeks to save some funds.



If anyone was to ride along with that pricing let me know. As I say there is nothing in this for me, just hoping to see more trucks with beefy tranys and if it helps someone else save $500, I say let's do it!

WTF?!?! How long has it been since you talked to them?!? I asked them about this two weeks ago, and they told me they couldn't sell me a NV5600 without a core!!!!!!#@$%!#@$%! ... and I'm a wholesale account!!



Of course, I have a used source that comes up with them on occasion, and just so happened to come up with two, recently, so I don't really want to spend the money on a new one, but it still chaps my Obama!!

They told me it would be $1000 without a core. That was two days before my op.

Well, they always take care of me. I was ordering Synchro's for an NV4500 when I talked to them about the 5600's..... They said the cores are so hard to come by, they can't spare any without cores... . maybe it was who I talked to. I could try Mary or Monty, and they might do it for a regular customer... ... guess It's really moot now that I have two..... but it bothered me that they'd do for one and not another..... but it's great for you. Are you going to have them shipped or are you coming down to pick them up?

No. Would just have them shipped. To drive to OK and back I could not even cover my meals. Shipping will be about $250 for two.

Right. Well, I was asking, didn't know if you had a trip planned with alternative motives, perhaps..... Do you have the rear crossmember worked out yet?

Well i thought for sure i'd be contributing to the list but the shop says it's fine. I honestly don't think so. It's always been a little tough to get into gear from a stop but now it's nearly impossible. I don't know, guess it's time to read more. I'll follow this thread to see if you guys move on these, i might end up needing one after all.
