And the wait and see list of everyone who has read this.

If I need to move a name to a different column, let me know.

The price for the system each individual buyer will need is entirely dependant on how the individuals truck is set up. All prices will be 25% off the listed web price on the Snow Performance Boost Cooler Products link. As Jeff posted above, you could be as low as $300 (stage 2 kit alone) and could be in the $500's if you are a low flying aircraft. I would say for the most part, plan on at least $350 as a worst case scenario (READ - the most expensive) for MOST trucks. If you are running twin 50's and Mach 8 injectors, money is the least of your concerns.

The time frame once we get the initial 10, we may keep accepting names for another 7 days, then turn that info over to Matt to finalize the deal. Unless everyone can come to an agreement to set a specific date down the road to allow time to generate funds, we could set this up as early as Dec. 1st if we get all 10 buyers by tomorrow. Either Jeff or I will give Matt a call Monday to see if he has a preference in regards to a deadline to make payment.

I visualize that once the deal is closed, Jeff and I will provide Matt with each members name and other to be determined information, then each of you will have to contact him to let him know what you have on your truck now, what you plan on using it for (racing, towing, rice cooking) to get his recommendations on what you need as far as an assembled kit (most likely the stage two kit, another injector, maybe an extra trinket or two), he whacks off the 25% and there you'll be.

Did I add to the confusion and raise more questions than Jeff or I have answered? Clear as Mud?

Looks like Colorado members get to set up another wrench day for water/meth injection installation/assembly line.

Sweet!! Another buyer!! Oo. Oo.

One thing I just thought of in regards to this is shipping which we havent fiquired into the equation. If I remember correctly it was about $20.

Depending on the timing of when this all goes down I may be willing to take a trip down and pick up the kits for the local guys and then they can get them from me if they choose. I need to make a trip down that way for work anyway. Just an option, not necessary though. Would save us locals on shipping. Sorry cant offer it to those non-local, I try to be EODB. (Equal Opportunity Diesel Bomber :D )

Jeff

Sticks, Matt just E-mailed me the instructions so I'll take a look at them then send them back off to him then he can send them to you to help in your installation, if you guys do a big get together while I'm in town I'll give you my number to call if you get in a snag.

Any input on head gasket troubles? I am currently around 435hp and 40psi boost and would hate to have to do a head gasket.

I think I have read that boost pressures will increase about 4-5 psi aggregate. But I would think your actual drive pressures and speed wouldnt change any on the turbo. Seems like I have heard of HG go in the mid 30's psi and some are holding rediculous amounts of boost.

Jeff

count me in. I will be away from the computer till thursday. Gonna need the big system though, lookin for some big #'s next year. Dean

Sticks, I'm in. Definitely looks like a quality piece. Vultures on the fence, pretty funny. Would you send all the ordering info when everything is finalized. Thanks, Glen

Can someone tell me what I'd need? (see my sig)

I'd like to get one, but I gotta know how much it will cost.

I addition to my sig, I have a #11 camplate in the garage waiting until I get a good cluch.

I suppose with timing, I should be at least 350 HP maybe as much as 400.

Eric

PS This is for the 2nd gen.

Patriot, Maybe we can get Jim Fulmers recommendation? Jim are you there?

Based on my conversations with Matt I think he would say get the stage 2 kit and the check valve and call it good. Dont think you need the second nozzle at this point for your truck.

Cost for yours would be $321. 72 after the Group Rate

Jeff

Hey everybody, I talked for quite a while with Matt about our new G. P. and his requirements etc... ... GOOD NEWS!!! He has been testing a Diesel System for a while and it is now ready to go to market. Prior to this guys have been using the Stage 1 & 2 kits listed on his website which have been used on Gassers for years. This kit is for our type of useage. And even better is the price is a few bucks less. As on his gasser kits there are 2 systems available.

Stage 1 Kit: Designed for the Medium HP trucks (stock to 450 hp) running less than 35 psi consistently. This kit Matt feels will yield 70 hp or so and includes the following:

Variable Controller

Dual Nozzles

Check Valve

60-140 psi pump

2 qt. reservoir and bulkhead

Arm switch

All necessary mounting pieces, etc...

At Max useage this kit will burn 1600 ml a minute with 400 hp @ 35psig.

Stage 2 Kit:

Same as above except 60-220 psi pump

Non Variable Controller (this thing drops serious amps and burns the current available variable controller for the stage 1 kits out)

Stage 2 was designed for the "crazy guys" who go on up the HP curve and may do things like twins in the future. Matt feels this kit will yield in excess of 100 hp.

After talking with Matt the consensus is a high majority of the guys will need the stage 1 kit and 2 may be overkill. I'm still going stage 2 :D

Pricing for either unit is $439 retail with everything

Our price will be $329. 25

Shipping and Handling is $9. 95 per shipping address

I asked Matt what kind of experience he has had with these systems, he runs a really juiced up Mustang on his gasser kit for the last 10k miles of drag racing and dyno runs, nothing good for the engine in general and the engine has come out perfectly clean when torn down and no rust to be found. Only noticeable effect was in the intake which shows a light brown haze from the Methanol. Consensus from reading Jim Fulmers post after 6 months of the setup, no problems related to the kit. So my thought is, yes of course its harder on the engine than leaving it bone stock. No its not harder on the engine than things like injectors, boxes, high boost, etc... ...

I'll try and keep this as updated as possible, Matt hopes to have his diesel website up maybe by the end of the week. In the meantime, we have some buyers to bring in!!

Your right Jason, I am going to try and get over to Camping World and see what a Polypropelyne tank will run that fits in my toolbox, probably 10 gallon or so. Matt said they have a really nice one coming out soon that is 8 gallons and looks to be around $75. I want to see if Camping World has something less expensive, if I didnt have a tool box I would buy his since it probably looks nicer but mine will be concealed.

Jeff

I just got thru talking to Matt, he has an 8gal. tank that will mt. in the bed, with a mt. frame. It will be on his webb site shortley. He said if you didn't want to run meth. , you could use ww/fluid at 20 to 30% mixture which would protect to -20* for antifreezing, and still get 20-25hp gain. I use isoprophyl in a ww/solution, but he didn't know how iso. would work for injection in the eng. I think I'll go for it!! Could always go to meth. for a little more UMPH!

Great!! Thats what I plan to do is run WW fluid full time except when on the dyno or if I ever get this truck to the strip.

Jeff

Thanks for getting a hold of Matt, Jeff.

Jim, a big thanks for doing a proofread on the install instructions. You just let us know when you will be in the Denver area, lunch or dinner is on me.

Great to see that Matt is setting up a package specifically for us diesels.

It sure would be nice to see more than one stage two truck done up (Mike). Then there might be some interesting competition for the Horse Power Queen trophy (Mike). It would be great to go to another Dyno day with the Ford camp at some rice garage and have two CTD's throw down 600+ hp and 1200+tq (Mike). Even a 12 second Dodge in the quarter mile at 5280 feet (MIKE!).

Too subtle you think?
