No offense but I got mine cheaper than that on ebay.

Are you comparing apples to apples?

Does yours have Taillights, Brake lights, Turn signals, and White Back-up lights? And have a lifetime warranty?

If so why dont you share with everyone where you got your super deal.

My lightbar came today woohoo! well packed and this will be a breeze to install. It says "no wiring" but you have to wire in the reverse light... . but heck its one wire and a quick clamp will take 5 min so dont be discouraged!

Ill post photos as soon as I get time to install it. Its 2am and I plugged it in... WOW its bright!

To install on our 94-02 trucks we have to alter the bracket to go around the spare tire tube, Im guessing a dremel or small drill will take care of the problem

Well, I ordered one today for my birthday present. Damn kids won't buy me anything. So I bought it my self!!

I hope it is as good as they say!

Thanks IC Smoke for taking the time & trouble to set this up

Ian I'm awaiting pics and full detail on install as I'm just a couple of clicks away from ordering one myself!! ;)

Where would be a good safe & dry spot to tap for the reverse wire? Take out the tail lamp assy? What do you guys use for a waterproof splice?

Thanks

I have one and they are really nice. Mine cleared the spare tire crank hole just fine.

Nice setup.

running into this problem spare tire crank hole so I was thinking of putting a piano hinge so that way when I need to put the tailgate down, I can move the light w/o breaking it.

Mine has the taillights, blinker and brake lights, but no back-up light... And I bought it on Ebay for $55 but this was about a year ago, so I don't remember exactly who I bought it from. As far as warranties are concerned, it's a bunch of LED lights... they last pretty much, forever. Looks great at night. Initially I had a bunch of people stopping and asking me about it at intersections. Now they must be more popular, although I don't see too many of them out there...

Give me a little bit of time, Im going to wire it up today. I put it on and when you do so make sure its in the right spot. I put mine a bit to high and the pocket brackets for the tailgate (where they go in the posts on the bed where it hinges) it hit the light... . whoops so I had to pull it back off which was a PITA!!

So far at night its bright!! and looks real good!!!

Ill post some pics as the project progresses

Guys, I just measured across the area where this would mount. I see the photo with the Chevy and I assume from my measurements that the photo is the 60" model. Are we buying the 48" or 60" for the 65 bux?

BTW, it is very cool looking ;)

Ok, just got mine. Here is my HO on it. The red part looks great, and is bright. The white set of LEDs is there, but doesn't light up much. I tried wiring the whites to the battery directly and found no difference in intensity, just a test to see if there was a voltage drop on the reverse light wire I had tapped into. Also, the ad says lifetime warranty, but enclosed with mine was a sheet that I have to fill out and send in, and it only says a 1yr warranty.

i ordered mine today. i really like it and will make it work. in talking to the people there at the site, it will not clear the spare tire access hole on a 02. velcro maybe an answer or double sided tape. i have to wait 5 days to find out. robert
