The white set of LEDs is there, but doesn't light up much. I tried wiring the whites to the battery directly and found no difference in intensity
I had a bad experience with a simular setup from APC. Just the one with red leds, not the white. Both of the new $55 dollar units I had, eventually shorted out internally. I could actually see rust from the moisture fog that would condence inside the clear plastic tube. It rains here in Oregon. Upon closer inspection, I could actually see a tiny hole where the wire would go into the plastic tube and connect to the circuit board inside. I honestly don't think there could be that many people that actually make these things. My guess is they probably ALL come from the same shop in China... :-laf
2 questions...
1. Is the electrical connector a boat type 4-way like on the APC units?
2. Has anyone looked real close to their clear tube and noticed any moisture inside?

Well , I sent my lightbar back about an hour ago.Talked to Nicole this A. M. she said they had a lot of trouble getting returns shipped by USPS and that it would be better to ship by UPS or Fedex.
So Ian I wouln't give up, just keep bugging the crap out of them!!I did ask her if they had alot of problems with the lightbar & she said everyone asks her that!!
But they ship out over a hundred a day and only get back a few!:-laf I have heard that before. It seems kinda funny that we have had 2 or 3 just here.
Plus it cost me over $17. 00 to send back. :{ It was only $80 new. Lets hope they last longer a couple of months.
Hmmm . . . light bar doesn't like those thoroughly rock-salted Cleveland highways too well, huh seemore?![]()
