Edit: Just noticed something. I'm up to a 383 in my post count. Same size as the engine in my Chevy. What you don't notice when you're up for 18 hours and coming off of a hangover.

can it handle 60 psi? i had a hx 40 from diesel dynamics , loved it, but after 20k miles and adding laser cut dvs, i shot it through the exh. the turbo got me in the low 13's everytime. what shaft size is it? i need a turbo real soon. i'm ready to buy!

Give JR a call. This turbo won't work for you, but I bet his hybrid 55 would be perfect.

Ahh..... i'm feeling better after getting a few hours of sleep and a couple cans of caffeine. Rough morning though... ... . Anyways, back to the turbo talk.



Can anyone give an estimate of how many HP this turbo will cool? Only mods to contend with are the downpipe and oil drain? Option of upgrading in the future without having to change downpipe? I would like a little more discussion before I budge. The thought of an HX35/B2 setup has came back in my head tonight, if this doesn't go through for me.

When I spoke with JR I think he suggested this turbo will effectively cool 425-475 HP

Before I commit (I know the deadline is tomorrow) I would also like to know the compressor wheel size. Also would like to know what horsepower this will support or the range (350-450) etc like a H40?

i believe this will support 475hp with little to no egt issues. I have not dynoed and have no idea at what i am at. I believe it will flow a little more than a hx40 with no lag.

How will this turbo work with comp box 120hp injectors? will it lower egts drastically? how much boost? sorry so many questions,, big purchase.
