Group discount?

I just called the "group discount" dealer to order a factory service manual for the discounted price of $95. Then I called DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-890-4038 and found that the price direct from them is $90. Does not sound like much of a "discount".

Polarbear - Direct was $90 plus $10 shipping and handling plus any tax for me. Is the GP price with or without shipping? might be a $5. 00 saving for you to hit McD's for half a lunch.

When I bought my service manual from Dodge in 95 it was about 40 bucks.

Got mine in November via GP. Had not noticed until now, they charged tax plus shipping. Total of 108. 70.

You may want to try north of the border, with the exchange rate, you should do quite well. You may want to check with your U. S. customs and border authorities to see what the implications are. The toll free phone number is 1-800-387-1143 and you can pay by Visa or Master Card. If I remember correctly I had a heck of a time getting a hold of them, but I eventually got through. According to a brochure, that I picked up at a local Dodge Dealership, the cost for 92-94 manuals is $82Can and for 95-00 is $90Can.
