Will there be any issues on trucks running the 99 style steering setup. Since some people have trubles with it rubbing on their wheels I thought these might have the same problem?

I may be looking into a set because at this price they could pay for themselves fairly quickly.

What do these things look like mounted on our trucks with the stock aluminum wheels? I would like something discreet looking, not making the wheels look like hubcaps. Any pictures?

I may be wrong but it sure seems that they are sticking it to the dually owners 1pr. 2 balancers for $159. 00 verses 2pr. 4 balancers for $169. 00. This means my dually would be $318. 00 and all others $169. 00. This seems like something is wrong to me.

Put them on yesterday and truck is smooth as silk up to 100 mph. Noticeable difference at highway speeds, not so much around town. Seemed to isolate the 70 mph vibe from the other vibes the truck makes. At least I know it isn't the wheels and tires. Must be the drive shafts.

Used a liberal coating of anti seize on the hub so hopefully the centramatic won't stick. What a pain getting those wheels off!

Recommend them to everyone.

Not affiliated blah blah blah.....

I just put mine on with the new tires and have a question. The rears went on easy, but the fronts are in contact with the wheel, because the ring hits the caliper when I tried them with the ring in. I was able to get the wheels on and I can hear the beads moving inside the ring still. Did you guys have the same issue with yours?

Thanks,

Ben

Ben did you call the customer service line for installaton assistance? They should not touch the wheel allthough they will be real close. I had to put part B on the front, a on the rear. I also had to use spacers on the front. I have oem alluminum rims.

Just put mine on this A. M. when I had my Michelins rotated and balanced. most weight one of the tires took was . 75 oz. , just bought the Michelins 4 weeks ago. So far up to 90 MPH the truck has a much more solid feel to it. Have to go to So. Cal tomorrow to deliver a trailer and weather permitting should have a much better opinion as to how these things are working!

I called them this morning and the spacers are on the way. I wonder why they have a different design for the front and rear?

Ben

Stupid question, after following the thread on the aluminum wheel fiasco... . on the rear duals (03 truck) is the ring supposed to face inward or outward?? I believe we installed them with the ring facing inward, didn't look right facing outward.

I tried to order... no luck... . got recordings on phone numbers and got nothing but grief from website. Kept telling me I had to re-enter my information, which I did and it kept repeating it... . the heck with it

Be glad that they are different. I had to put the rears on the front with the ring out. The rears have a 1/8" offset that has moved the ring close to center then the ones intended for the front. the ones on the rear the ring went on the inside, because it can with no clearance problems. If the ring was to go to the outside it would most likely hit the rim

I see that your post was at 10 pm , it could be that before they left the office at closing they set the web site to what the next day was going to be , the [ group perchase over the 14th ] as per. our site rules , has to end sometime .

Ok, here is my pain in the backside or Centramatic update. I got the spacers (2) yesterday and put them on this evening and moved the backs (B) to the front and put the fronts (A) on the back. I had to put the B's on first and then put the spacer on to keep them from touching the wheels. When I did this, I put the ring out because if I were to have them in both with and without the spacer, the balancer would hit the caliper. With the ring out and the spacer on after that, there are a few places that the balancer touches the wheel and other parts where it isn't. I am about to give up on this, but before I do, I am calling Centramatic tomorrow and find out why I am having issues with these. The bad part is, I doubt I will be able to return them, because with the way I had them before the switch, I wore a groove into the flat side of the A's. If I am not satisfied with how these fit and I can't return them, I'm sure I can make someone a deal for these.
