Group Purchase opportunity.

I have negotiated a pre-release special price for a new 3rd gen 3 gauge mount available from Quadzilla performance. It is a powder coated aluminum mount that fits in the dash 'cubby hole'. They will not work with seat warmers

Details of this Group Purchase are posted within the TDR Classified Ads at:

https://www.turbodieselregister.com...isplay_db_button=on&db_id=322&query=retrieval

Group Purchase begins October 20, 2002 and ends November 15, 2002.

Please email me if you are interested. I will have pictures tomorrow. They look VERY sharp.

Mark, I will be coming thru DFW this week, headed for Donna with a 5th wheeler. Was supposed to leave today, but they aren't finished with it yet. Will you have the mounts there for me to see? I'll call when I get headed your way. Got anything else ready for me yet????

Any ideas on other mounting option for those with seat warmers. The cubby hole is there but I don't even know if it is big enough for a gauge. Looking at the Westach combo but don't have a clue where to mount it.

Cheers,

Casey

3Gen Gauge Mounts

Oops, guess what else they won't work with, aside from the seat warmers? The Laramie package puts the electric 4wd switch right where your leftmost gauge is. Rats! :{

Here is a picture of the Laramie with seat heaters.

Laramie cubby hole

Vertical opening of cubby hole is 2 1/8 inches and the actual opening in the woodgrain fascia is 2 3/8 inches. Looks like room for one gauge if the installaton kit replaces the current switch mounting plate. I tried sliding one of my old gauges into the cubby hole and it was fairly stug. But there are not that many mounting options on this puppy. Cheers.

what are those 2 blank switches for between the 2 heated seat switches?

Nick,

Those two blanks are dummy look-a-like switches in my truck. Don't know if they are used in any other trucks or not. Though I got every option except automatic and side air bags.
