Group purchase on clutch

Looking for people who might be interested in a group purchase clutch package. Not sure which one yet but South Bend has already said they would cut us a break on the price. Just trying to get a feel for how many might be interested at this point. Thanks.

I think the flywheel diameter is different from the 98. 5-2000 to the 2001. Does that mean the clutch would be different too? Could we still use a credit card?

I'm calling tomorrow (3APR) to talk to Woody at South Bend to order their newest clutch. Maybe I will hold off but only for this week. I will see what they have to say. I do not think they have even seen this clutch complete. The first shipment arrives tomorrow. I will let you know what happens.

This sounds great to me. The clutches are different from the 2001 ho and the 1999, but both companies sell them, for each truck, so im sure you guys could get in on this too. I guess the next step is to count up all the people that have said they were "in" and make few calls, and see whos going to treat us the best. Since it seems either clutch is going to do us just fine? What does everyone think. Would this clutch hold with the PM3 and the DDIII's? It sounds like it will. I am probably only going to go with the DDII's, but it would be nice to know the clutch would hold. Piece of mind, I guess. Well, let me know. I would get in on this deal whenever we are ready. Thanks All Vanman, let me know if you need my help with this.

Ok... here's how SouthBend wants to handle this. Peter asked if I could just get a list to him (e-mail me, give me your name, and I'll give you the discount amount). Each of us would then contact him individually to place our orders (pay however you please) at which time he will cross you off the list. We can all order whatever clutch we want and the discount will be a percentage off the usual price. One thing Peter stresses is that we will need to have our flywheels resurfaced to keep the warranty (never done it but apparently it's pretty easy to find a place to do it). Also, the clutch kits will include the alignment tool.

Mhindman thanks for the offer but looks like it won't be too much work. Just in case anyone is wondering... nothing in it for me, just trying to get the same discount and help out a little.
