I really like this mod, but...

The installers used too much epoxy and the window is spaced out a little from the body of the truck. Nothing I can do about it now, but it won't leak. The sliding portion of the window doesn't sit square in the rails when the window is closed. The actuator pushes the bottom of the window (as this is it's only contact point) harder than the top and it doesn't sit square when it's closed. This can be remedied by not holding the "close" button, but by only holding it until the window just closes against the seal.



Overall, I'm happy with the finished product.



I'll post pics of the switch location along with the final version of the rear window tomorrow.

I got the BMW switch to work. It was easy once I got a wiring diagram. Works great and is illuminated. The only drawback is that it is illuminated all the time... . a BMW thing. Here is a photo:

Can ANYBODY who has a 2002 Ram extended cab that has this rear window PLEASE, PLEASE, P L E A S E let me know ASAP what partnumber their rear window was? Im looking at I believe its a EPC944S. I can't tell for sure what the interior of my truck looks like because its at the body shop being rebuilt from an little accident I had 2 weeks ago...
