<font color = blue> I finally got around to installing the Grover Air horns in parallel with the the OEM factory sparrow fa*t equipment , but have not yet decided whether to use the auxiliary switch supplied with the kit, or use the existing steering wheel horn switch instead, or even go the "painless wiring kit" route.

My only real concern when using the existing steering wheel switch, is that when the truck is locked with the remote keyless entry feature ( or the panic feature ), the circuitry may not handle the load and might compromise/damage the keyless entry/panic feature.

I'd be very interested to hear how other installs dealt with this? Thanks guys.

We installed mine with the horn button in the steering wheel,no probs with overloading the circuit. In fact Doc at the Wooward dream cruise kept using it from our lawn chairs to honk at different particapants in the cruise. Also it is fun when someone who is jumpy standing by your truck to give them a remote BLAST. Carl

John, don't you think with your mighty Ram surrounded by dinky European econoboxes, you already hold a commanding presence? Oh I get it, just lay on the horn and watch the traffic part #ad

Thanks for the phone call the other day. I tried my best to understand everything you were saying calling on a cell from Germany (and I am not that used to English accent #ad
