when off, they are above the Chrysler star on windshield, and when wiping they go off windshield. How do I fix 'em so they are mounted proper position? Thanks for any help!

My driver side windshield wiper sits right on the star. The passengers sits about a 1/4" below the blackout line. They seem to do ok in those positions.

I can see a retaining clip on my truck, but I dont know if the design was changed for your truck.

It sounds like they missed by one mark on the spline drive connection for your wiper arm.

Hope this little bit of info helps!

My truck wipers were both not set right level either. Pull clip and lift off shaft and reinstall level and even with each other. 5 min job. Or take to dealer and make them fix it. Oo.

Wipers

Hey Dawg, start by raising the hood, look at the base of the wiper arm, you will see a small "L" shaped thing sticking out of the side of the housing, raise the wiper blade off the glass untill you feel resistance then pull out on the little lever, this will unlock the arm from the shaft, wiggle the arm and remove and reposition where you want it and re-install then raise up on the blade and push the little lever back in and place blade back in contact with windshield. Mine are about 3/4 to one inch above the blacked out line but my windshield has been replaced and my truck is 99. Good luck. bg
